Tool Life Increased 350%!
In this application, the customer was grinding wheel hub bearings in high-production, using a
sintered aluminum oxide grinding wheel from another manufacturer. The targets were:
- Increase the dressing interval
- Increase the tool life
- Reduce cost/part
Meister engineers designed and tested a new wheel using CERALOX technology. The result was a dramatic increase in wheel life (+350%) and a very satisfied customer.
