hDD Hybrid Bond Dressing Tool increases dressing interval by 2X
A customer was grinding tungsten carbide cutting inserts with a Meister vitrified diamond grinding wheel on a high-performance Junker machine.ย 
The dresser being used was a hand-set CVD from another manufacturer.ย On suspicion that the wheel was not being properly sharpened, a porous hybrid-bonded dressing tool (hDD) was applied.ย As a result the wheel performance was dramatically improved, allowingย the dressing intervalย to be doubled.
