Who is Meister Abrasives?
Meister Abrasives Corporation is an international manufacturer of high-precision industrial abrasive tools with divisions in Switzerland, Germany, USA, Italy, China, and Hong Kong. The US division was established in 1988 and produces CBN and diamond grinding wheels from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in North Kingstown RI.

Responsibilities include:
• Plan machining tasks by studying work order requirements and drawings
• Setup and run a variety of manual and CNC grinding machines, hydraulic presses, lathes, and drills to complete the required tasks.
• Use precision measuring instruments to inspect the completed parts against the design specification and drawing.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain an orderly inventory of required tools for each assigned machine and workstation
• Daily and Weekly cleaning and preventative maintenance of assigned machinery

Skills desired:
• Experience with precision measuring tools and instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauge)
• Ability to comprehend and retain detailed verbal or written instructions from production paperwork
• Cleanliness and attention to detail while handling, assembling, and machining precision parts
• 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses
• Endurance in repetitive work and standing for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Experience and Educational Requirements:
• Experience: 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
